This program is designed exclusively for our dedicated employees and reflects our deep commitment to our teams professional growth and the vital role they play in fostering fullness of life for older adults in the spirit of Christ’s love.

About the Grant:

This opportunity is called “Dual Pipeline Grant” from the Minnesota Office of Higher Education that helps fund Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) education as well as an RN to BSN. What’s included are all required Pre-Nursing or Pre-requisite general education, and regular course specific courses at our chosen training providers: Ridgewater College, Anoka Technical College, St. Cloud Technical and Community College, North Hennepin Community College, St. Cloud State University and Pine Technical and Community College.

Key Benefits:

• Up to $6,000 in funding per year for up to 3 years for the cost of tuition, books, and fees
• Additional support funds of up to $500 per year to pay for tutor services, gas cards, milage, etc
• The Grant funds “pay first” and are in addition to any additional funds provided through the FAFSA process
• Includes a curated and paid On-The-Job-Training component to apply academic learnings on-site at your campus through real-life situations, operational, quality, and clinical meetings

Eligibility:

• Must be an employee for 3 months
• Must be in good standing (no Written warning)
• Must work 24 hours per pay period
• Cassia expects a 1-year work requirement after becoming a nurse
• This program is for both new and current students in the specified programs
