Dear Cassia Family,

My dad was a pastor. He instilled in me the sacred value of service and community—the Holy Work noted in Leviticus 19:32: “Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God.” I’ve been blessed to make this Holy Work my career.

For nearly a decade as Cassia’s Chief Operating Officer, I’ve witnessed the powerful, tangible ways donors, volunteers, residents, families and staff have helped us care for older adults and those in need with dignity, compassion and faith. Now, stepping into the role of CEO, I’m deeply grateful and honored to lead Cassia into its next chapter.

I am especially humbled to follow in the footsteps of Bob Dahl, who served Cassia (and Elim Care) with unwavering faith and compassionate leadership for over three decades. Bob’s journey wasn’t just a career; it was a calling guided by God’s hand. His remarkable legacy is a testament to what happens when faith, generosity and purpose unite.

It is clear, too, that Bob saw this work as Holy Work and I’m excited to build on the strong, Christ-centered foundation he established.
