5 Cassia Communities on Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026 List

Cassia is proud to announce that five of its nursing home communities have been named among Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes for 2026, a national recognition that highlights excellence in quality outcomes, resident satisfaction and compassionate care.

The following Cassia communities were recognized by Newsweek in the 50–99 bed size category in Minnesota for 2026:

Together, these rankings place Cassia among the most recognized senior care organizations in the state.

This recognition reflects Cassia’s belief that exceptional care begins with people—residents, families and the teams who support them each day.

“At the heart of this recognition are the residents entrusted to our care,” says Jaime Brady, Cassia’s chief clinical officer. “Being named among the 2026 Best Nursing Homes validates our focus on dignity, safety and meaningful quality of life for those who call our communities home.”

Accolades like this would not be possible without the dedicated staff devoted to resident care and support.

“This recognition acknowledges the compassion and excellence our nurses and staff bring to their work every single day,” Jaime says.

Of the more than 15,000 Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing homes nationwide, Newsweek and global data intelligence firm Statista evaluated communities located in the 33 states with the most nursing homes. Only 1,200 communities earned recognition in 2026.

Nursing homes were assessed using four key pillars: performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations and resident satisfaction. Clinical performance data carried increased weight in 2026, reflecting the growing emphasis on measurable quality outcomes and accountability in nursing home care.

Cassia’s strong showing on the 2026 list reflects a shared commitment across its communities to clinical excellence, personalized care and meaningful relationships with residents and families. While each community is unique, all are guided by Cassia’s mission to foster fullness of life for older adults in the spirit of Christ’s love.

Cassia remains dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in senior care, ensuring residents receive high-quality support in environments where they feel known, respected and at home. Cassia is a nonprofit organization that provides independent and assisted living communities, memory care, skilled nursing care centers, short-term rehabilitation centers, adult day programs and community-based services across five states.
