The Face of Cassia

January is Be Kind to Food Servers Month!

In honor of this nationally celebrated month, we want to recognize the Dietary Aides/Servers at Cassia who come to work daily to help our residents have a top-notch dining experience. You have an incredible impact on our residents and we appreciate you!

What does a Dietary Aide/Server do?

The short answer? They serve our residents, employees, and family members meals and make sure they are provided with a top-notch dining experience. On a typical day as a Dietary Aide/Server, you will greet our residents with a smile and take their meal order. Then, you will work with a culinary team to portion food and transport it to either a resident’s room or the dining room. After our residents have enjoyed their meal, you will take the tray back to the kitchen, tidy the dining room, and help wash dishes.

But as a Dietary Aide/Server you will do more than just serve food—you will build lasting relationships with our residents. You will learn how they like their eggs cooked at breakfast. It’ll become second nature to grab them a cup of coffee just the way they like it. And most importantly, you will look forward to coming to work every day to see their smile and to hear about their day.
